Advertisements and Serious Graphics

Here are a few examples of serious graphic work I've done for clients. Each reflects the desires of the client in the graphic representation. Everything on this page is protected by copyright.

The latest project I have been working on is a T-shirt design for the House of Bread, a local bakery. They are attempting to set the world's record for a cinnamon roll and wanted a design that also incorporated their logo. Here is the end result. (Click on the design to see a larger view.)

This was a Back To School coupon book cover for a regional restaurant promotion. The graphic was done black on white then printed the negative to achieve the blackboard effect. (Today, we would have kept the original with the idea of the white board!)

This was a versatile ad done for a college paper. They used the white space of the billboard to put in ads for reporters and photographers for the college and local newspaper. This is basically a freehand piece. (With the help of a straight edge.)

This cover to the School Of Engineering event, at the University of Kansas was a commissioned piece. It was done in pencil, then approved by the client, then rendered in pen-and-ink for publishing.
